Regular washing is one of the most traumatising things you can do to your skin. Your skin is tough, but it simply can't handle being stripped of oil all the time. Even if your skin is oily, over cleansing is not recommended as it could trigger your own skin's inflammatory response - to release the stored oil onto surface where it will sit instead of sinking in (when your skin is damaged by surfactants, the oil ends up in the wrong place). We believe that morning wash is not a necessary step for everyone. This toner contains a gentle emulsifier, which gently cleanses makeup residue and excess oil without stripping. It leaves skin hydrated, plumped, soft and smooth, ready for your next skincare step.
